What Do I Wish To Fly Free From?

A video! In response to Jamie Ridler's Wishcasting Wednesday (Find Jamie's site at : http://jamieridlerstudios.ca/ ).

(I did this on the laptop and there is a horrible picture/sound delay...but I have no software to edit it from the laptop.  Sorry!)

And you???

  2. Lisa! So great to see you in the Wishcasting crowd. And so fun to see you in a video! Love it. And yes, I have that "should" trouble, too.

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well. (And maybe for me a little bit, too.)

  3. As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you.

I wanted to say that the best way to 'put yourself out there' is to share your enthusiasm with people. Period. Marketing is as simple as loving what other people do and encouraging them in that. There is no better way to promote yourself than to be an honest, sincere cheerleader for other people. You're *already* doing that. <3

  6. Thank you for this video....I'm "feeling" what I want to fly free from (but cannot yet put it in words).

And yes, as you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.

  8. I loooove what you say about flying free from the 'shoulds' of life and tranforming them into 'coulds' and real heart/soul choices.... a wonderful 'wish' and aspiration.
As you wish this for yourself, so I wish it for you also, dear Lisa.

  10. My goodness - you are just so inspiring! I think I should release myself from pressure - pressure to be awe-inspiring 24/7; pressure to be perfect; pressure to get things done before they truly NEED to be done. I just need to BE and fly FREE! I am hoping wishes come true - for both of us! xoxo Theresa

  11. I had a therapist once tell me that I needed to stop "should-ing all over myself". Best. Advice. Ever.

I feel ya' sister- it's so easier said than done, but I try to be gentle with myself and give myself some leeway when it comes to my creative life. It'll get done when it's supposed to get done. You know- the whole "bigger picture" idea:)
